Here are some images from yesterday’s hike (2022-06-30) that I would like to share with my good friends in Portugal. Angarnssjöängen is one of the natural reserves in Stockholm area where we can enjoy hiking and observing the amazing birdlife. In Spring and Fall the area is used as a stop station for a large number of migrating birds. It is a wonderful spectacle just a few km from home!
Although it is impossible to convey in a few pictures the warmth, the odors, the insects, the birds and the feeling of hiking in the area, I can’t help trying to share these feelings with my friends in Portugal. Do not miss enjoying one of these places next time you visit Stockholm. Just make sure to have the right gear for the shifting weather (which is also part of the charm!).
